Medical college admission circular 2015-16 has been announced. The exam will be held on 2nd October 2015. Medical admission test 2015-2016 of all medical universities and colleges of Bangladesh will be held on 18th September 2015. The decision was taken by ministry of health in a meeting titled ‘MBBS and BDS 1st year admission for 2015-16 sessions. Get Medical College Admission notice 2015.

After completing the meeting with additional secretary of ministry of health, said “the decision of medical admission test has been fixed to take place on upcoming 18th September on Friday. As public universities have exams on Fridays of that time, we do not have time anymore except 13th November. But a further discussion will be held as per leading by the honorable minister. Still we are optimist to take the exam on 18th September in 2015.

Based on performance in the exam of one hour MCQ questions of 100 marks and GPA in SSC & HSC exams, students will be admitted into medical colleges. The HSC result will be published on 9th August in 2015. About 10, 73,884 students appeared in this exam this year under eight general education boards, technical & Madrasah Education Board. As per the information from ministry of health, there are 3162 seats in 29 government medical colleges and 5325 seats in 64 private medical colleges in MBBS course. Beside there are 532 seats in the dental sections of govt. medical colleges and govt. dental colleges and 1280 seats in 24 private dental colleges.

Applicants must be a citizen of Bangladesh who passed SSC or equivalent in 2012 or 2013 and HSC or equivalent (with Physics, Chemistry & Biology) in 2014 or 2015

Applicants who passed SSC before 2012, they are not eligible for application;

For the general candidates must have minimum total GPA 8.0 in SSC and HSC or equivalent, minimum GPA 3.5 in each of SSC and HSC in Bangladesh & Foreign Education Program.

For the all tribal candidates and non-tribal candidates of Chittagong Hill Tracts districts total GPA 7.0 in SSC and HSC or equivalent. The application is not acceptable if applicants get bellow GPA 3.00 individually, the rule is also for foreign students who want to take admission in Private Medical/ Dental Colleges. For all type of candidates GP 3.5 in Biology in HSC level.
